Main Road/Eastfield Road landscaping

As can be seen from the picture right the landscaping of the Southern corner of Main Road and Eastfield Road has been started. The modern design, which contains an array of natural wooden posts, around which a selection of hardy shrubs will grow in the next year or so, is intended to give a feeling of spaceousness and purpose to an otherwise uninteresting stretch of barren grass. At the moment the appearance is dominated by the posts but these will fit into the overall scheme as the plants around them grow.

This is the first of the current environmental projects which are on the Parish Council's programme for the next few years.

Tree Planting - Woodley Chase & Clipston Way
