New members of all ages are made most welcome at this friendly club.
There is a varied programme of walks
- ‘Rambles’every month (on a Sunday) of 5-6 miles
- ‘Ambles’ every other month (on a Thurs) of 4-5 miles
- ‘All day walks’ twice a year of 9-11 miles
- Annual awayday by coach
- Boxing Day and New Year’s Day walks

Please wear walking boots or stout shoes, and have waterproofs with you.
There is a refreshment break on all walks – please bring your own drink and snack.
The Ambles always end with a pub lunch for those who wish to partake.
There is a Social Evening each November, and the Annual General Meeting, held in April is always followed by a social event.

There is a small membership fee, but anyone who is interested can come along twice before joining, in order to ‘try it out’.
Duston Ramblers is a Section of the Duston Community Association (DCA), and it is a requirement to be a member of the DCA as well. This gives third party insurance at all Ramblers events, and gives access to all the other Sections of the DCA.
