Bus Service Reinstated
You will recall that the 27 bus route was
withdrawn from service about 2
years ago causing many residents in St Giles park area problems in
getting easily into Duston Village. Together with Matt Golby the Parish Council financed a part bus service to help .
we are pleased to advise that
Councillor Matt Golby has managed to get this sevice
reinstated
as a new No 5 service.
This will start on september 20th.
operating monday to saturday on a 30 minute service. it will use the same
route as the old 27.

Planning Permission for the new design for the complex has been granted by WNDC and submitted tenders are being evalauted for a decision on April 30th 2010.

This is a message from Northamptonshire West Police to all residents living
within Duston.
Main Road - it has been reported to us that around 3.00am on Monday 16th
August, scaffolding ladders were used to climb around the outside of a
building and in to the back yard. The CCTV cameras were moved around and
various unsuccessful attempts were made to open the windows. No property
was taken.

This is a message from Northamptonshire West Police to all residents living
within the area of Duston.
Main Road- it has recently been reported that between the times of 8.30pm
on Monday 16th August and 6.00am Tuesday 17th August, a car parked securely
on a driveway was stolen.
The vehicle is a blue saloon type Ford Escort, with the registration number
J57 SUD
If you have any information in relation to this incident please report it

Whitefield Road- it has been reported to us that between the times
of 6.00pm on Tuesday 17th August and 7.00am on Wednesday 18th August, a
hole the size of a 10p was made in the rear door of a car, and a tool was
then poked through to unlock the door from the inside. Property was then
stolen from inside the car.
Residents are advised to always make sure that their vehicles are left
locked even if only leaving them unattended for five minutes. Never leave
property on display or 'hidden' in the boot and glove box at any time of
day, including any indication of a Sat Nav system and activate any car
alarm systems.
This is a message from Northamptonshire West Police to all residents living in the Duston area on behalf of your local Safer Community Team (SCT).
On Thursday 1 July, the Duston SCT executed a misuse of drugs act warrant at an address in Gifford Court. They recovered 45 cannabis plants and equipment used for the cultivation of cannabis. A 34 year old man was also arrested and has been released on bail.
